Valencia Marathon is an annual marathon road running event hosted by Valencia since 1981. It is categorized as a Platinum Label Road Race by World Athletics. The race is organised by the Valencian sports club SD Correcaminos, which also organises the annual Valencia Half Marathon. It is ranked Nº1 amongst marathons in the Spanish Road Races Ranking. The marathon runs on roughly a loop course that begins at Pont de Montolivet and ends next to the nearby Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe.

After check in, we head to the marathon's Expo and get all the necessary equipment for the race.

After enjoying our breakfast at the hotel, a morning workout is well-recomended.
Then, a lot of free time remains, for sightseeing and wandering around the beautiful city of Valencia.

Marathon Day
3rd Day Plan:
Transportation to the marathon starting point, along with Golden Marathon Tours team guidance. If you are an athlete we make sure you get to the right spot on time and if you are an athlete's escort we help you find a good place for watching the marathon.
After marathon race, there is plenty of free time for sightseeing and wandering around the beautiful city of Valencia.

The popular athletics phenomenon has become a point of reference in bringing sport to the masses. This is nowhere better exemplified than in the Marathon. These mythological 42,195 kilometres provide us with an impressive demonstration of the qualities needed to excel in any sporting area: personal endurance, perseverance and stamina. The Valencia Marathon is held annually in the historic city of Valencia which, with its entirely flat circuit and perfect November temperature, averaging between 12-17 degrees, represents the ideal setting for hosting such a long-distance sporting challenge.
This, coupled with the most incomparable of settings, makes the Valencia Marathon, Valencia, one of the most important events in the national calendar.The Valencia Marathon a well organised and treats runners to free hot chocolate and churros before the race and excellent goody-bags at the finish. The relatively small field prevents crowding and allows runners to make their own pace.The route is mainly suburban, avoiding most of the city, but with a scenic stretch along the coast. Notable sites along the route include the Jardin del Turia, Mercado de Colon and Palua de la Musica, finishing at the stunning Museo de las Ciencias Principe Felipe.
